Árstíðir lífsins return with their much anticipated EP entitled "Hermalausaz".
The EP features two extensive songs with a total playing time of over 40 minutes.
?Similar to previous releases, ‘Hermalausaz’ contains both modern and classic Black Metal elements, ambient archaic folklore patterns, supported by dark chants and classical instruments.
The lyrics are written in Old Norse poetic form and are highly inspired by the cryptic runic inscription of the western Norwegian Eggja rune stone, as well as selected Skaldic poetry.
‘Hermalausaz’ was composed and recorded in Norway, Sweden and Germany in 2022 and mixed and mastered in September 2022 by Markus Stock at Studio E, Mellrichstadt, Germany.
The layout was done by Christopher Duis (eingemachtes.net).
