The less "necro" the recording may appear, the more crushing and brooding are the songs on "Totenzug: Festering Peregrination" - a necessary improvement to fully convey the primal darkness that rests within each of the songs. Musically far more diverse and heavier than before, the album tells stories inspired by grim local folklore, necromancy and - of course - Dis Pater himself...
